  • 6 egg whites, frothy
  • 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. walnuts
  • 42 crackers (1 sleeve)
  • 1 large Cool Whip
  • 2 cans cherries

Directions

    Beat egg whites until frothy.

    Add cream of tartar and vanilla; beat well.

    Add sugar, walnuts and crackers; mix well. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan to make crust.

    Bake 25 minutes at 350°; cool down.

    Spread large Cool Whip on top of crust and top with cherries.

    Keep cool until serving.
