  • 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. broken saltine crackers
  • 3/4 c. nuts
  • 2 pkg. Dream Whip
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Directions

    Beat egg whites until fluffy.

    Add sugar, cream of tartar and vanilla.

    Beat until stiff.

    Fold in crackers and nuts.

    Bake in greased baking dish, 25 minutes at 325°.

    Cool.

    Spread Dream Whip over top, then add 1 can cherry pie filling.

    Chill overnight.
