- 1 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Mix margarine and sugar. Stir in corn syrup and the 2 egg yolks.

2Stir in the flour; chill. Roll into 1-inch balls.

3Dip into slightly beaten egg whites, then into 2 cups finely chopped nuts.

4Place on greased baking sheet.

5Press candied cherry halves into centers. Bake at 325° for 20 minutes.

6Makes 4 dozen.
