  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. nuts (if desired)
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Directions

    Cream oleo, sugar, eggs and vanilla.

    Add other ingredients. Take 1/2 batter and spread on greased cookie sheet.

    If batter is too stiff, add a little water to thin.
  4. 4
    Spread cherry pie filling (or any other flavor) over batter.
  5. 5
    Spread remaining batter over cherry filling and sprinkle nuts over top.
