  • 18 ounces, weight Semisweet Chocolate Chips (I Prefer Ghirardelli 60%)
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 1-1/2 cup Dried Cherries, Chopped

    Line an 8x8 inch pan with waxed paper.

    In a heavy saucepan, melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk and the salt, stirring occasionally. When chocolate is melted, remove the pan from heat and stir in almond extract and cherries. Pour into the prepared pan and spread out the chocolate mixture into an even layer. Allow to cool. Store in a sealed container to keep fresh.
