  • 2 cups enjoy life very berry crunch granola cereal
  • 2 tablespoons tapioca or 2 tablespoons rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter, margarine (optional) or 3 tablespoons safflower oil dash salt (optional)
  • 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cansdrained tart cherries
  • 23 cup brown sugar
  • 4 teaspoons quick-cooking tapioca
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract (optional)

Directions

    Grind granola in food processor or blender until fine.

    Add remaining crust ingredients and process until well blended.

    Press into greased heart-shaped pie plate.

    Preheat oven to 350F While waiting, combine all filling ingredients in a bowl.

    Let stand 15 minutes.

    Pour on top of crust and bake 15-20 min at 350F or until filling begins to bubble.
