- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1/4 c. maraschino cherry juice
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except nuts and cherries.

2Blend on low speed 15 seconds.

3Increase to medium and blend 30 seconds. Stir in cherries and nuts.

4Pour into greased and floured mini bread pans.

5Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden.
