- 1 lb. dates, chopped
- 1 lb. pecans, chopped
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries, cut
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple, cut
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs, beaten
Directions

1Combine fruit and nuts in a large bowl.

2In another bowl, mix eggs, sugar and dry ingredients.

3Blend well.

4Pour creamed mixture over fruit.

5Mix well.

6Pour into a greased and floured tube pan or loaf pans or cupcake papers.

7Bake in 300° oven 1 1/4 hours or until done.

8Cool in pan.

9Remove and wrap.

10Soak in fruit juice or wine.

11Store in refrigerator.
