- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. Thank You brand cherry pie filling
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add vanilla.

3Stir in eggs, one at a time.

4Add flour and nuts.

5Mix well.

6Spread 3/4 of thick batter in ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.

7Cover with cherry or other filling. Drop remaining batter by spoonfuls on filling.

8Bake 45 minutes at 350°.

9Cool.

10Cut into squares.

11Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
