Ingredients

  • 4 c. biscuit mix
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. margarine, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Directions

    Combine dry ingredients. Stir in pie filling, milk, margarine, egg and vanilla.

    Blend well and fold in nuts.

    Bake in 2 well-greased and floured loaf pans (9 x 5-inches) for 1 1/2 hours at 350°.

    Cool on rack 15 to 20 minutes.

    Turn out on rack top side up.

    Good served with cream cheese as tea sandwiches.
