- 1 loaf frozen bread dough
- 1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
- 1/2 tsp. cherry extract
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Thaw and soften dough.

2Cut 16 slashes across loaf 1/2-inch apart, almost to bottom of dough.

3Combine cherries, extract and nuts.

4Set aside 2 tablespoons of mixture for topping.

5Spoon 1 teaspoon of mixture into each cut.

6Press loaf together and place in greased loaf pan.

7Sprinkle with reserved topping.
-
8Cover pan; let rise until double.

9Bake at 375° for 30 to 40 minutes.

10Cool on wire rack before trying to slice it.
