Cherry Pecan Cheesecake

- 2 cups vanilla wafers crushed
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 stick butter
- 24 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1 pint sour cream
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Directions

1Mix together and pat on bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan or use a springform pan.

2Mix softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar. Mix. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add vanilla. Pour over crust. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-23 minutes. Remove from oven. Turn oven to 500 degrees.

3Mix together and spread over cheesecake. Return to oven for 5-8 minutes. Cool and top with 1 can cherry pie filling. Let set at least 8 hours before serving.
