- 3 Tbsp. Cream cornstarch
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. cherry juice
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 4 c. cherries, drained and pitted
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell
Directions

1Combine cornstarch and sugar.

2Gradually add cherry juice. Heat to boiling over direct heat, boil gently for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

3Add butter, lemon juice and drained cherries.

4Mix well and pour into baked pie shell.

5Makes one 9-inch pie.
