Cherry Pie Supreme

  • 9-inch frozen shell
  • 1 (1 lb.) can filling
  • 4 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Thaw shell 10 minutes.

    Prick bottom and sides with fork.

    Put 1/2 of pie filling over the crust.

    Bake for 15 minutes at 425°, until crust is brown.

    Beat cream cheese, vanilla, eggs and sugar until smooth; pour over hot filling.

    Put into reduced oven (350°) for 25 minutes.

    Cool completely on wire rack.

    After it's cooled, pour remaining pie filling on top.

    Put some sour cream or whipped cream around the edge.
