  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 3/4 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 (6 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
  • 1/2 stick margarine, softened
  • 2 c. confectioners sugar
  • maraschino cherries

Directions

    Mix sugar and Crisco.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Add flour and milk alternately. Add vanilla, 1/2 cup chopped nuts and the 1/2 jar cherries.

    Bake 2 hours at 275° in preheated oven.
