- 1 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 3/4 c. plain flour
- 6 large eggs
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, chopped fine
Directions

1Cream Crisco, margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla.

2Add flour alternately with milk.

3Fold in chopped cherries.

4Pour into tube pan and place in cold oven.

5Bake for 2 hours at 275°.

6Cool on rack about 10 minutes.

7Remove from pan and cool completely.

8Mix together the following ingredients for Cherry Frosting and frost cold cake.
