• 2 sticks margarine
• 1/2 c. butter flavored shortening
• 3 c. sugar
• 6 large eggs
• 3 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
• 3/4 c. milk
• 1/4 c. cherry juice
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 (10 oz.) bottle maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
• 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 stick margarine
• 1 box confectioners sugar
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• remaining chopped cherries
