- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Mix as for a cake.

2Put in a buttered 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.

3Sprinkle 2 cups cherries over this and 1 cup sugar over the cherries.

4Cover all with 2 cups of boiling water.

5Bake at 375° for 45 to 60 minutes.

6(Raspberries or other fruits may be substituted and adjust the sugar accordingly.)
