- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 2 c. flour
- Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. boiling water
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar.

2Stir in milk, flour and baking powder; mix well.

3Spread batter in 6 1/2 x 10-inch baking dish. Cover with pie filling.

4Combine lemon juice with boiling water and carefully pour over top.

5Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes until cake reverses itself and crust top appears.

6Put Cool Whip on top (or vanilla ice cream).
