    Cream together the first five ingredients with electric mixer. Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch cookie sheet (with sides).

    Put mixture on sheet.

    Mark dough for 35 squares.

    Lay cherries in center of squares.

    Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
