  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. shortening
  • 3 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 5 tsp. baking powder
  • well drained cherries
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 1/4 c. brown sugar

    Mix cherries, melted butter and brown sugar.

    Place cherry mixture in bottom of 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
