- 6 quarts cherries, cleaned and stemmed
- 1 quart white vinegar
Directions

1Put cherries and vinegar into a stainless steel or glass pot.

2Cover and keep cool for 20 hours.

3Drain off liquid and set aside.

4Mash solids and put in sieve.

5Add sieved liquids to original liquid.

6Discard mash.

7Measure juice and put in pot.

8Add an equal amount of sugar.

9Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes.

10Remove and let cool.

11Skim off any froth.

12Seal in bottles.
