- 1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 3/4 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Prepare unbaked pie shell.

2Mix butter and sugar and simmer slowly, stirring for 5 minutes.

3Remove from heat and let cool slightly, stirring constantly.

4Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.

5Add vanilla, salt and vinegar; mix well.

6Pour into pie shell and bake at 400° for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and bake for 20 to 30 minutes.

7Shake pie gently.

8It is done when center gives slightly.
