  • 3 egg yolks plus 1 whole egg
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 stick margarine, melted
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 3 egg whites (for meringue)

Directions

    Beat eggs until creamy and add sugar and blend well.

    Then add melted butter and lemon juice.

    Pour into pie crust and bake at 375° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 250° and bake until firm.
