- 1 whole chicken or 4 to 6 chicken breasts, skin removed
- 1 stick butter
- 1 can chicken broth
- 2 to 3 c. milk
- Jiffy mix for biscuits
- milk
Directions

1Boil chicken until tender in a large stewing pot or Dutch oven.

2Remove chicken from pot (preserving broth in pot).

3Remove bones from chicken and tear into bite size pieces; set aside. Bring broth back to heat; need about 8 cups of broth or 1/2 of the pot.

4Add can of chicken broth to water in pot.

5Add entire stick of butter.

6Add 2 to 3 cups of milk.

7Bring liquid level of broth up to about 3 inches from the top of the pot; bring to a boil.
