  • 1 fryer
  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 1 c. dry rice
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 pkg. soup mix
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Select a deep, wide dish that will hold chicken without crowding and have only one layer.

    Melt oleo in dish; salt and pepper lightly.

    Roll chicken in oleo and arrange in dish. Sprinkle dry rice over chicken.

    Sprinkle soup mix over all.

    Add water slowly around and over all.

    Cover with foil or lid and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.

    At 45 minutes, lift chicken up and let rice fall under chicken.
