- 1 fryer
- 1/2 stick oleo
- 1 c. dry rice
- 2 c. water
- 1 pkg. soup mix
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Select a deep, wide dish that will hold chicken without crowding and have only one layer.

2Melt oleo in dish; salt and pepper lightly.

3Roll chicken in oleo and arrange in dish. Sprinkle dry rice over chicken.

4Sprinkle soup mix over all.

5Add water slowly around and over all.
-
6Cover with foil or lid and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.

7At 45 minutes, lift chicken up and let rice fall under chicken.
