- 3 lb. frying chicken, disjointed
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 3/4 c. uncooked rice
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 4 Tbsp. onion, chopped
- 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
- 1 (11 oz.) can mushroom soup
- 1 (11 oz.) can cream of celery soup
Directions

1Brown chicken in margarine.

2Place in a 9 x 14-inch baking dish.

3In the same frying pan with fat, add rice, chopped onion and pepper.

4Saute until vegetables are limp.

5Add drained mushrooms, soups, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.

6Mix well and heat to simmering.

7Pour mixture over chicken in a baking dish.

8Cover and bake 1 1/2 hours at 350°.
