- 1 whole chicken, cut up
- 1/3 c. flour
- 4 oz. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 c. rice
- 3 c. chicken broth
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Melt butter in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.

3Dredge chicken parts in flour and place skin side down in baking dish.

4Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.

5Lower heat to 350°. Remove chicken from pan and add the next 7 ingredients.

6Stir well.

7Add chicken broth and stir.

8Place the chicken on top of the rice mixture, skin side up, and bake for 40 to 45 more minutes.

9Serves 4 to 6.
