  • 4 c. water
  • 2 to 3 lb. skinless, boneless chicken
  • 3 pkg. yellow saffron rice
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 3 oz. Colby or Cheddar cheese
  • 3 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • mushrooms or broccoli (optional)

Directions

    Boil chicken.

    Cut into small pieces.

    Add rice, garlic, salt and margarine.

    Simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is tender. Add cheese and salt and pepper to taste.
