Ingredients

  • 12 pcs of chicken
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 pkg. dry mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 c. sherry wine

Directions

    Brown chicken on all sides in butter and oil.

    Remove to casserole.

    Saute/fry mushrooms in remaining fat till golden.

    Sprinkle soup mix over chicken.

    Sprinkle salt and pepper.

    Arrange liquid removed mushrooms on top, cover and chill overnight.

    Remove from refrigerator at least two hrs before baking.

    Add in wine, cover and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hrs.

    Serve with rice.
