  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 14 cup cornstarch
  • 1 lb chicken, cut into thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 34 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
  • 1 cup mushroom (fresh)
  • 14 ounces pork and beans in tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoons parsley
  • 12 cup light sour cream

    Fry onion in margarine& first amount of oil.

    Remove to a small bowl.

    Coat chicken in corn starch, place frying pan with second amount of oil.

    Fry till lightly browned then add water bouillon powder bouillon powder, mushrooms& onions.

    Heat till boiling.

    Reduce heat.

    Cover& simmer for about 10 min.

    until chicken is tender.

    Add beans, parsley& sour cream.
