- 6 c. chopped onions
- 4 c. chopped potatoes
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 large chicken, cut in pieces
- 2 c. water
- 2 c. chopped tomatoes
- 3 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 small chili, chopped fine
- 2 c. yogurt
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 3 garlic pods, chopped fine
- 10 mint leaves, chopped fine
- 2 tsp. fresh ginger, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. cloves
- 1 Tbsp. cardamon
Directions

1Fry onions and potatoes in 2 tablespoons oil until brown; set aside.

2Melt butter and add chicken and tomatoes; lightly fry. Add all ingredients and 2 cups water.

3Cook 40 to 45 minutes, until tender.

4Serve over rice with mango chutney.
