Chicken Biscuit Pot Pie

  • 1/3 c. margarine
  • 1/3 c. Bisquick
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon or 1 cube
  • 2 c. chicken or turkey, cooked and cubed
  • 1 pkg. frozen peas and carrots (10 oz.)
  • 1 c. Bisquick
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/4 c. cold water

Directions

    Heat oven to 425°.

    Heat margarine in 2-quart saucepan over low heat until melted.

    Mix in 1/3 cup baking mix, onion, salt and pepper.

    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is bubbly.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in 1 1/2 cups water, milk and chicken bouillon.

    Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.

    Boil and stir 1 minute.

    Stir in chicken and frozen vegetables.

    Heat through.
