- 1 fryer, cut up
- flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. dry red wine
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Into Brown-in-Bag, add 1 tablespoon flour, salt, pepper, paprika, green pepper, onion and tomatoes (no juice) and chicken.

3Put bag in pan.

4Blend 1/4 cup flour with tomato liquid.

5Add remaining seasonings and wine.

6Pour into bag. Close bag with tie.

7Make slits in top.

8Cook 1 hour and 20 minutes.

9Serve over rice or with potatoes.
