  • 1 broiler chicken or chicken breasts, boiled
  • 2 lb. frozen broccoli spears
  • 1 lb. frozen carrots
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 c. chicken stock from boiled chicken
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 stick margarine

Directions

    Layer chicken in bottom of a large or 2 small Pyrex dishes. Layer broccoli, carrots, water chestnuts, mushroom soup and chicken stock in dish.

    In separate dish, mix flour, buttermilk and margarine until smooth.

    Pour on top of chicken and vegetables. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until golden brown.
