- 1 chicken, cut up, or 6 to 8 chicken breasts
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 3 cans water
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Coat chicken with salt, pepper and flour mixture.

2In a Dutch Oven or large deep pan put enough oil to brown the chicken. Remove chicken and drain oil from pan.

3Put rice, mushroom soup, water, and salt and pepper, if desired, in the same pan.

4Arrange chicken on top of rice mixture-cover and bake in 350° oven for about 1 hour or until rice is tender.
