  • 2 c. cooked diced chicken
  • 1/2 c. rice cooked with 1 c. sliced celery in 1 1/2 c. broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 3/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 can drained sliced water chestnuts
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. almonds, sliced
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Mix together soup, mayonnaise, onions, almonds and chestnuts. Add rice, chicken and celery.

    Pour into buttered 9 x 13-inch dish.

    Top with buttered bread disks.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
