Chicken Chablis

  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. apple juice or Chablis
  • 1/2 c. apple jelly

Directions

    Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.

    Melt butter in large skillet.

    Cook chicken until lightly brown, about 4 minutes on each side.

    Remove chicken from pan and set aside.

    Add apple juice or Chablis and jelly to pan drippings.

    Simmer until jelly is melted. Stir constantly.

    Return chicken to pan and baste with sauce. Cover and simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
