Ingredients

  • 12 corn tortillas, broken into large pieces
  • 4 large chicken breasts or 1 whole skinned chicken (cook chicken and take meat off bones, cut in large pieces)
  • 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 can green chilies, diced
  • 1/2 c. minced onion

    Mix all ingredients together except for tortillas.

    Put a layer of broken tortillas in

    a large 3-quart baking dish and cover with a layer of chicken mixture.

    Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.

    Bake in oven at 350° for 1 hour or longer if casserole seems too moist.
