  • 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • dash of salt (optional)
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. instant bouillon granules (chicken)
  • 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • hot pepper sauce
  • 1 c. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
  • 2 c. cooked chicken or turkey, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. pimiento, chopped
  • 12 crepes

    Cheese Sauce:

    Melt butter; stir in flour and salt.

    Add milk, water and chicken granules all at once.

    Cook and stir on medium heat until thick and bubbling.

    Cook 1 to 2 minutes more.

    Stir in cheese, parsley and pepper sauce (to taste).

    Remove 1 cup of sauce mix; set aside.

    Stir mushrooms into sauce.
