  • 2 c. cubed cooked chicken
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c. green chilies (4 oz. can)
  • 1/2 c. onion
  • tortilla chips

Directions

    Combine soup, 1 cup Cheddar cheese, milk, chilies and onions in bowl.

    Stir to blend.

    Place 1/3 cup chips in bottom of 1 1/2-quart casserole.

    Top with 1/2 of chicken, then 1/2 soup mixture.

    Repeat layers.

    Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.

    Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

    Garnish, if desired, with tomatoes, peppers or olives.
