- 2 whole chicken breasts, split
- 1 can sliced mushrooms, drained (about 4 oz.)
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley or parsley flakes
- 1 1/2 c. quick cooking rice (uncooked)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
Directions

1In skillet, brown chicken and mushrooms in butter.

2Stir in soup, water, parsley, salt and pepper.

3Cover.

4Simmer 20 minutes. Stir in rice.

5Simmer 10 minutes more or until liquid is absorbed.

6Stir often.
