- chicken, boiled beforehand
- 4 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3 3/4 c. cream-style corn
- 3 c. diced chicken
- 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 6 Tbsp. melted butter
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Melt 4 1/2 tablespoons butter.

2Add flour; blend well.

3Stir over low heat until bubbly.

4Add broth all at once and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.

5Season with salt and pepper.

6Combine corn, chicken and sauce in a 2-quart casserole dish.

7Top with bread crumbs, blended with 6 tablespoons melted butter.

8Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, or until crumbs are brown and sauce is bubbly.
