  • 1 (3 1/2 lb.) broiler, boiled and cut into bite size bites
  • 1/4 lb. bacon
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 large bell pepper
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 c. catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. hot sauce
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 or 2 c. broth
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 small can peas

    Fry bacon and remove from pan.

    Saute chopped onions and bell peppers in fat.

    Add other ingredients.

    Let cook until thick, adding a little flour if needed.

    After mixture thickens, add peas and mushroom soup and bacon broken into small pieces.

    Let simmer 45 minutes.
