- 1 roasting chicken (21/2-3lbs)
- 12 cup butter
- 3 onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 bouillon cube
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Melt butter; add onion and saute until brown.

2Remove onion and set aside.

3Add seasoned chicken cut into small pieces.

4Saute until browned.

5Add onions back to pan, plus curry powder, hot water in which bouillon cube has been dissolved.

6Cover and simmer until tender (45-60 min).

7Don't add water during cooking.

8Serve on steamed rice.
