Ingredients

  • 2 lb. boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. curry
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 apple
  • 2 c. cream
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 to 1/3 jar Major Grey chutney
  • 1 c. chicken stock (1 tsp. bouillon with 1 c. hot water)

Directions

    In a large saucepan, melt the butter; saute chopped onion, juice of lemon and diced apple until tender.

    Cut chicken into chunks and toss in flour and spices.

    Add to onion and apples. Saute chicken until 3/4 cooked.

    Add cream, chicken stock and chutney.

    Bring to a simmer and place in casserole.

    Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
