- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 chicken breasts
- flour
- 1 can chicken mushroom soup
- 1/2 can milk
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 can water
- 1 (8 oz.) can mixed veggies
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Directions

1Put 2 tablespoons shortening in skillet.

2Split chicken breast into 4 pieces; remove skins.

3Lightly flour and brown breasts. Remove breasts; pour off shortening.

4In skillet mix chicken mushroom soup, water, milk and thyme.

5Stir well.

6Add mixed veggies (drained) and parsley.

7Simmer 5 more minutes.

8Serve over rice.
