  • 3 (5 oz.) cans boneless chicken, drained
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 tsp. curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar)
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli cuts
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Thaw the broccoli in a colander under cold running water.

    While the broccoli is thawing, combine the soup, mayonnaise, sour cream*, lemon juice, curry powder, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.

    Grease the baking dish, drain the broccoli well and spread the broccoli over the bottom.

    Sprinkle 1/2 the cheese over the broccoli.

    Drain the chicken and flake it evenly over the cheese.

    Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken and top with the remaining cheese.

    Bake, uncovered, 25 to 30 minutes until bubbly.
