Ingredients

  • 1 (16 or 20 oz.) pkg. frozen peas or broccoli
  • 1 whole chicken, cooked and boned
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 2 slices yellow American cheese, torn into pieces
  • 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs, torn up

    Cook vegetables until tender.

    Alternate vegetables and chicken in greased baking dish.

    Blend milk and soup.

    Pour over vegetables and chicken.

    Melt butter and mix with bread crumbs. Sprinkle pieces of cheese over vegetables and chicken soup mixture.

    Sprinkle bread crumbs over top.

    Bake at 450° until lightly browned, 15 to 20 minutes.
