Chicken Divan

Ingredients

  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 bag frozen broccoli or 1 head fresh broccoli (use amount desired)
  • 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 3 boneless chicken breasts, split to make six halves

Directions

    Boil chicken breasts in water with garlic salt.

    Cook broccoli in a small amount of salted water, just until bright green, but not mushy.

    Line bottom of casserole dish with broccoli.

    Cut chicken in chunks and place on top of broccoli. Mix soup, cheese, mayonnaise and lemon juice thoroughly.

    Pour over chicken and broccoli.

    Top with bread crumbs or crushed Ritz crackers.

    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until hot.
